This vertical clip cropper reframes any video for portrait feeds. It does not trim the timeline or change the speed. Choose 9:16 for Shorts, Reels, and TikTok, 4:5 for portrait feed posts, or 1:1 for square grids. Crop mode keeps the center of the picture and cuts the sides, while pad mode fits the full frame and fills the leftover space with a blurred copy or solid black.
The tool loads a WebAssembly build of FFmpeg only when you export. It re-encodes the video as H.264 MP4 and keeps the first audio track as AAC when one exists. The longest output side is capped at 1920 pixels, which keeps portrait exports within the sizes most platforms expect. Browser memory and processor speed make the tool best for short or moderate clips.
