01 / Overview

What is a calendar generator?

A calendar generator creates a clean monthly calendar for any month and year. Choose whether weeks begin on Sunday or Monday, add a custom title, ISO week numbers, and a notes area, then copy or print the finished calendar. Everything is generated instantly in your browser.

Who it's for

  • Project teams mapping milestones, review dates, and launch deadlines on one page.
  • Students and teachers printing a clear month for assignments, classes, and exams.
  • Families making a fridge calendar with appointments, trips, and shared reminders.
  • Freelancers planning client work with a Monday-first layout and ISO week numbers.

Use the live preview to make a printable monthly calendar without downloading a template or creating an account. The grid uses Gregorian leap-year rules, and the optional week-number column follows ISO 8601. Your title and notes stay in your browser and are never uploaded.

FAQ

Is the calendar generator free?

Yes. You can create, copy, and print as many monthly calendars as you need without an account, subscription, or watermark. The tool runs entirely in your browser and has no usage limit.

Are my calendar title and notes uploaded?

No. The month grid, custom title, and notes are processed locally in your browser. They are not sent to a server, and clearing or closing the page removes the current entries.

Which years can I use?

You can generate a Gregorian calendar for any whole year from 1 through 9999. Leap years follow the standard rule: years divisible by 4 are leap years, except century years unless they are also divisible by 400.

Can I start the calendar week on Monday?

Yes. Switch the week start between Sunday and Monday at any time. Monday-first calendars are common for work planning and match the weekday order used by ISO 8601 week numbers.

How do calendar week numbers work?

The optional numbers use ISO 8601. Weeks start on Monday, and week 1 is the week that contains January 4. A few days at the start or end of a year can therefore belong to the previous or next ISO week-year.

Can I save the calendar as a PDF?

Yes. Select Print calendar, then choose Save as PDF in your browser's print dialog. The print view contains only the calendar, your typed notes, and the optional blank notes area.

Does the calendar work offline?

After the page has loaded, calendar generation needs no network request. Month lengths, leap years, weekday positions, and ISO week numbers are all calculated with client-side JavaScript.
